When you look for a locksmith to serve your security needs at home, at work, or on the road, make sure the locksmith you choose is trustworthy.

California law requires that the locksmith

1) has a license

2) gives the customer a good faith estimate in writing before doing the work

3) includes the California LCO license number on the invoice

4) has a California State Licensed Contractor registration for jobs costing more than $500 and includes the number on the invoice

4) makes sure that the person requesting service has authorized access to the building or vehicle
